Margott Robbie is an Australian born, actress, who has worked in many films over her career span, gaining popularity, as well as several nominations for best actress. She began her early career with independent films in Australia, then with TV soap operas, the late 2000 s after which she worked in ‘Neighbors’, which garnered her with two nominations for Logie award, and later in the American popular series ‘Pan Am’. She has been featured in Time’s 100 most influential people in the world, and in 2019, she has been ranked among world’s highest paid actresses.
Early Life & Family
Margot was born to Doug Robbie, and Sarie Kessler. Robbie’s father was a farm owner, and her most of the childhood, she has spent in the farm, with her grandparents at on Australia’s gold coast. In an interview once, she said that some of her best memories were spent out on the farm hunting wild pigs, or riding around on motorbikes. Raised by their single mother, she grew up with her siblings, Lachlan, Cameron, and Anya.
During her teenage, she has spent her time working at three jobs, after which she joined and studied drama, at Somerset College, until when she was 17, when she went to Melbourne to pursue acting professionally. During her struggle days, she has worked as a ‘Sandwich Artist’, at a subway restaurant. And after she quit the job, months later she starred in a commercial that was for Subway. She has also worked as in a pharmacy, an office, warehouse, catering and more.
Being a 90 s kid, she has witnessed the Harry potter phase as a teenager, and she has even admitted that she is a very big Harry Potter fan. She said in an interview once in the ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!!’, that she lied about her vision, that she needs to wear glasses, so that she could get one like Harry Potter.
Margot, who has often been termed as one of the most attractive women in the world, was quite the very opposite as she was growing up. She never felt attractive growing up, as she used to wear braces, glasses, and she used to do ballet.
Relationship
At the beginning of her booming career, she has dated Henry Alt-ken in 2014. However, she has also been rumored widely to have hooked up with her Focus co-star Will Smith, and The legend of Tarzan co-star Alexander Skarsgard. She was then with her housemate turned boyfriend turned husband, Tom Ackerley.

Professionally, she has begun her career, and been acting since 2007, where she has starred in some of the popular ‘ICU’, and ‘Vigilante’. However, it was cancelled after once season due to falling ratings.

Controversies/Affairs
Though she has maintained a brief distance with controversies interjecting, she was once involved in a comment made by Vanity Fair editor Rich Cohen, during Suicide Squad, when he called her, “sexy and composed, even while naked but only in character”. To which, Robbie said that she had been through far more sexist, and derogatory remarks, and she’s probably desensitized to it now.
It was also that, with her film, ‘Once upon a time in Hollywood’, she was involved with the controversy of her being given very few lines, and less screen time throughout the film. But, it was counteracted saying the film was more about Rick’s story, and Tate’s angelic presence throughout the film, her angelic ghost.
