Vaani Kapoor was born on 23 August 1988 in Delhi, India. Vaani Kapoor is an Indian Actress who debuted with ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ in 2013. She started her career as a model in the Elite Model Management. She earned her first award for Best Female Debut for her first film produced by Yash Raj Films. Vaani Kapoor loves animals and her favorite animal is cat. She has provided the industry her few romance comedies . She also debuted in the Tamil movies and successfully did one movie.
Early Life & Family
Vaani Kapoor obtained a degree in Tourism studies from the Indira Gandhi National University. She also did a three year internship in the Oberoi Hotels and resorts in Jaipur, Rajasthan. In one interview she also said that before debuting in Bollywood she was very chubby girl with the braces. After internship she was soon signed by the Elite Model Management and started her career by modeling.
Vaani Kapoor’s father, Shiv Kapoor is a businessman whereas her mother , Dimpy Kapoor is a teacher and an executive manager. She has her elder sister named, Nupur Kapoor. According to her father, girls must marry soon at the right age and that is why her elder sister got married at the age of 18 and is now living in Dubai . Vaani was forced to marry soon too but she denied and firstly wanted to build her career .
Vaani Kapoor also revealed that she comes from a non-Bollywood family and also from a very protective family but when she started her career her family also started supporting her. Her family is settled in her home town , Delhi and she works in Mumbai.
Relationship
Vaani Kapoor is working for seven years in the industry but didn’t had many of the relationships. At the beginning of the career she was rumored to be in a relationship with director Aditya Chopre but that rumor was completely untrue. Another rumor of her relationship was that she was dating Nikhil Thampi who is a fashion designer.
She never really dated anybody or not seen being in a serious relationship with one. According to her , if she ever will be in a relationship then she want to be in a proper and a serious relationship rather fooling around. If she had any boyfriend in early life then its not clear and not revealed.

Vaani Kapoor first started her career by modelling with Elite Model Management after her internship of three years. Before debuting in any movie, Vaani was appeared in many of the TV commercials such as Cad bury Dairy Milk , Oppo mobiles and Zaveri Jewelry. In 2009, she debuted with her TV series.’Specials @10 – Rajuben. Then she debuted with her first movie, ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ in 2013. In this movie she worked opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra.
This film was not a blockbuster but had mixed comments and did no great in matter of money. But this movie made her earn the Best Female Debut award in 2014. Later in 2010, she debuted with her first Tamil film, Aaha Kalyanam . This film was a remake of ‘Band, Baaja, Baarat’ in which Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma worked together. Later she was signed for her next movie, ‘Befikre’ in 2016 . After her two year of break she got this film against Ranveer Singh.
This movie gave Vaani a lot of fame and was highly appreciated for her dance moves in one of the movie song,’ nashe si chadd gayi’. This was a hit movie and mostly had positive comments. In 2017, Vaani Kapoor was seen in an album song ‘Ni Me Yaar Mana Na Ni’ and danced so well in this music video. Vaani did her next film, ‘War’ ,which featured Hrithik Roshan and Tiger shroff. This film was directed by Siddharth Anand and was highest grossed movie plus it earned above 450 crores. Among all these movies her most successful and popular film was, ‘War’.
Controversies/Affairs
Vaani Kapoor has not been into much controversy but she has been into the two most big controversy . But of the controversies are related to her films. In 2016, Vaani came back after a two year of break with ‘Befikre’ movie , but the public noticed that her look was totally different from the ‘Shuddh desi romance’ look.
People started commented upon her look and that she had a lip and chin surgery to enhance her facial look. In this matter, Vaani was asked about it and she replied that,”I have lost weight , my face is bound to look different . We shot in Paris when it was freezing, the cameras keep zooming in and out. The face looks different from different angles”. She also said that she can’t afford surgery because she is just one film old.
The another big controversy was the time when her film,’War’ was released. Vaani Kpoor posted a picture of herself wearing a bikini top with ‘Ram’ printed upon it. Many of users and her fans were disappointed to see this and thought that this is a disrespect to Hindu Gods and religion. One of the user tweeted that,’Insulting Hindu gods and practices has become a way to tell a specific section in Bollywood we are going to stoop to any lows to get work’. People also used slangs in their negative comments.
Many said that she is shameless women, she don’t have any respect for religion and God, if you can’t respect them at least don’t disrespect them. Eventually, Vaani had to delete that picture from her social media to stop the negative comments and to not raise the issue.
