Overview
Megan Fox comes from an american family, and as she begun her career in 2001, with small roles, and then a regular one in ‘Hope and Faith’, and then with her film debut in ‘Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen’. Soon then, she was seen with Shia Lebouf in Transformers, and Jennifer’s Body, and Teenage mutant ninja turtles, which uplifted her career.
Megan stays with her long time boyfriend, and later her husband, Brian Austin Green, and her three sons, Bodhi Ransom Green, Noah Shannon Green, Journey River Green.
Early Life & Family
Fox spent her early life in Tenessee, and began taking classes for drama and acting at the very young age of five. Her parents separated, and as her mother remarried, she and her older sister shifted to Florida. And as she was thirteen, she had started her career in acting and modelling. She had won several awards, and because of her growing success at a very young age, and her aspiration for becoming an actor her friends at her school used to tease her, for which she began taking correspondence classes and moved to Los Angeles.
She said once that her brought up as Pentecostal was very strict, and as later she moved to a catholic school, even there it was strict. She wasn’t allowed to have a boyfriend or invite friends to her house. She wasn’t popular in her school, and was regularly bullied by her classmates during lunch. Her friends were usually guys, and thus her personality was like that.
Relationship
Megan has been on a brief relationship with ‘Beverly Hills’ star, Brian Austin Green, for over 10 years now. Before marriage they dated each other for six years, till 2010, when they got hitched. However, they were in on and off relationship in between.
Popular Movies/TV Series
In 2001, fifteen-year-old Megan fox landed her first break with ‘Holiday in the Sun’, a comedy film, with her character as a heiress Brianna Wallace, and the nemesis of Alex Stewart. And with her good performance, she managed with guest appearances on ‘What I like about you’, and ‘Two and a Half men’.
And then, in 2004, she debuted with ‘Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen’, Lindsay Lohan as her Co-star. She played the role of Carla Santini, the nemesis of Lola, the character played by Lindsay Lohan. Later, she was cast in ABC’s sitcom, ‘Hope and faith’, where she was seen in second season and third season, replacing Nicole Paggi, until 2006, when the show was cancelled.
It was 2007, when Megan got her biggest breakthrough till now, with Michael Bay’s live action film, ‘Transformers’. It was based on the cartoon series, sharing the same name. With widespread praises coming for the film, and Megan’s appearance, she was soon to be recognized by many, and nominating her for MTV awards under the category of ‘Breakthrough Performance’, and also three Teen Choice Awards. And with such a massive success of Bay’s film, Fox was soon offered with many films, of which she signed the sequels for ‘Transformers’, with her co-star Shia Lebouf.
She has given her voice in many films such as ‘Naya legend of the golden Dolphins’, and the popular ‘Robot Chicken’. On the may of 2019, it was said that Megan would be starring in a drama comedy, ‘Big gold brick’, which would have big names like Andy Garcia, Lucy Hale and Emory Cohen.
Controversies/Affairs
Megan has been a big name in the industry, as she is often considered as a sexy symbol by her fans, it is also true that she has had quite a few controversies in her career.
One of her most prominent, and talked of controversy would have been her feud with her ‘Transformers’ director, Michael Bay. She was to star in the third installment of ‘Transformers’, ‘Dark of the moon’, but according to a claim by Steven Spielberg, who was the executive producer, Fox was fired when she stated somewhere that working under Bay is like working under Hitler. She said, “He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is.”
She has also signed a dozens of films in between ‘Transformers’, and ‘Passion Play’.
She was also talked in the media a lot when she stated that she wont make a comment on the massive ‘#me too’ movement happening across the globe at the time.
