Nia Sharma is an Indian television actress, who has worked in Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron mein meri behena hai, and Zee TV’s Jamai Raja, and many more TV serials. She is of the most popular and successful actresses in the industry, and has worked in numerous TV daily soaps, and commercials as well.
In a newspaper published by a Britain based newspaper, Eastern Eye, Nia was ranked third in the list of Top 50 sexiest Asian women in he year 2016, and then second in the year 2017.
Early Life & Family
Nia Sharma was born in Rohini in Delhi. Her mother’s name is Usha Sharma. Her father passed away while she was a child, his name is not known. She has an elder brother by the name, Vinay Sharma. Growing up, Nia had always wanted to be a journalist, and was always intrigued with things happening around. She considers her mother to be the closest companion to her.
Nia, for her schooling went to St. Xaviers school in Delhi, where she was there till her 12th, and later did her graduation from Jagannath Institue of management sciences, in Rohini. She pursued mass communication from the same point.
Relationship
Nia Sharma was rumored to be in a relationship with television actor Varun Jain , in between. However, with the advent of her show Ek hazaaron mein meri behena hai, and her chemistry with her co star Kushal Tandon, they were rumored to be in a relationship, but it was never confirmed.
Popular Movies/TV Series/Bigboss
Nia Sharma began her career straight with the role of Anu in Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha in the year 2010. Later she starred in her second show, Behenein. As she was working she was offered with the role of Manvi Choudhary in Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron mein meri Behena hai. With this, her popularity grew massively, as she was starting to get recognized for her work, and her chemistry with her co stars. With her role, she even guest starred in many of the show of Star Plus like, Iss Pyaar ko kya naam doon?, Yeh rishta kya kehlata hai, and pyaar ka dard hai meetha meetha pyaara pyaara.
In 2014, she was seen as Roshni Patel/Ragini Desai in Zee TV’s Jamai Raja, along with her co star Ravi Dubey. The show got widely popular as people lauded their chemistry, and loved their work. Nia Sharma was everywhere, and soon after the show ended, she was seen in multiple realities shows, and in Vikram Bhatt’s web series, Twisted in 2017. She was also seen as a contestant in the eighth season of the Fear Factor : Khatron ke Khiladi. She was evicted very soon, but she came back with a special passage, and performing well in consequent actions, she managed to get into the finals. In a recent, Nia is seen in Colors TV’s Naagin – Bhaagya ka Zehreela Khel, where she plays the character of the Naagin, Brinda.
Apart from acting in TV series, and web series, Nia has done several commercials as well. This includes, Brookside, Sprite, Himalaya, Maruti Suzukiand many more.
Controversies/Affairs
Nia Sharma has always avoided to be in conflict with anyone as she worships her works, and her colleagues. However, once in a party, a Holi Bash at Ekta Kapoor’s house, she was seen kissing Reyhna Pandit, which later raised many questions and was talk of the town. Sharma told the media later, that it was just a kiss of pure love, nothing to make a big fuss of it.
