Born on 7 May 1993, Erica Fernandes is an Indian actress and model. She is best known for her role of Dr. Sonakshi Bose in “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi”. Her full name is Erica Jennifer Fernandes. She started her career as a model and has won the beauty crowns of “Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face 2011” and “Pantaloons Femina Miss Maharashtra.” In 2012, she was ranked among the top 10 finalists of “Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2012.” In 2018, she was placed 15th in Biz Asia’s TV personality list.

Erica Fernandes was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India in a Konkani Mangalorean Catholic family. Her hometown is Mangalore, Karnataka, India and her mother tongue is Konkani. Her father’s name is Ralph Fernandes, former model, and interior designer. Lavina Fernandes is her mother, who worked with Air India and Bank of America. She has one elder brother named Jermaine Fernandes, who works at “Ernst and Young” in Mumbai.
Erica did her schooling from Holy Cross High School, Kurla, Mumbai. Later, she went to SIES College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Sion, Mumbai for completing her B.A. Graduation. However, she discontinued her studies to pursue modeling. She was interested in dancing and acting since her childhood and got training from the Shiamak dance academy.

There were the rumors, Shaheer Sheikh and Erica Fernandes were dating each other. They met each other on the sets of “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi”.
