Overview

Sonarika  Bhadoria is a television actress who eventually worked in Bollywood films as well. She popularly known for her portrayal of goddess Parvati in Devon ke Dev…Mahadev. It was then, that she got recognized in the industry and started getting more number of works. She was also seen with the role of Mrinal in Prithvi Vallabh- Itihaas bhi, Rahasya bhi.

Early Life & Family

Sonarika comes from a Rajput decency, with their origin in Lucknow. Her father, Rakesh Singh Bhadoria is in the construction business, and her mother, Poonam Singh is a homemaker. Growing up her interests involved dancing, and acting, as she used to love watching films.

She did her schooling from Yashodham high school, and then her per-university education from D.G. Ruparel College, with Bachelors of Arts in Psychology.
Before coming into the industry she aspired and wanted to become an IAS officer. When she got the offer for Devon ke Dev..Mahadev, soon she accepted considering her family’s belief in spirituality and deities.

Relationship

As per official reports, Sonarika is not dating anyone at the moment. However, she has been rumored to be in a relationship and dating an outsider, Vikas Parashar. When asked, she said, “Yes, Vikas is a dear friend and extremely special. But I am not dating him as of now.

I have very few friends and majority of them are not even in the country, they are scattered everywhere. Talking abut Vikas, I have known him since years now and he is a very  good family friend. Yes, he is my valentine but we are not dating”.

Bhadoria began her career as a lead role with Life Ok’s ‘Tum Dena Saath Mera’, where she played the character of Abhilasha Manan Sharma. She got her break with Devon ke Dev…Mahadev in 2011, where she was seen as the portrayal of Goddess Parvati. Sonarika got so famous with the show that she was recognised everywhere, and her fan following burgeoned.

Life Ok’s Devon ke Dev..Mahadev won many awards, with its TRP rising to heights. One of its episode aired on 9th of September 2012, which showed the killing of demon Raktabija by Kali, record the highest TRP of 8.2 TVR. The show ran till 2014, with a total of 820 episodes.

Soon, Bhadoria was offered with many films. And in the year 2015, she was seen in her debut, ‘Jadoogadu’,a Telugu languaged film. Under the banner of Sathyaa Entertainments, it starred Naga Shourya as Krishna, and Bhadoria as Parvathi. In 2016 she did another film, ‘Speedunnodu’. And then in the same year she signed two more films, ‘Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam’, and ‘Saansein’. ‘Saansein’ was her debut film in hindi language, where the played the role of Shirin.

In her television career she is seen in Sony’s 2018 show, ‘Prithvi Vallabh – Itihaas bhi, Rahasya bhi’, and then in Colors’ 2019 show, ‘Ishq mein marjaawan’, where she is seen in a negative role, as Netra Sharma.

Controversies/Affairs

Sonarika has stayed away from any controversies so far in her career. However, she was rumored to have been dating her friend Vikas Parashar, which she cleared stating him as a dear friend, and them not dating, and being in a relationship.
