Haley Bennett debuted in the industry with her first romance comedy ‘Music and Lyrics’. In this movie she worked with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. Haley’s first acting experience was in school play at the age of 10. She also won the best actress award in a narrative feature for her performance in the film,’Swallow’.

Bennett describes her childhood as ‘nomadic’ because she used to move a lot with her father. Bennett’s parents name is Leilani and Ronald Keeling. When she was just 6, her parents got divorced and Haley got to live with her father. After divorce she moved to Ohio with her father and had an automobile shop. Haley says that they used to travel to many rural areas and never really in city areas. They also had pigs and ferrets. Bennett was a tomboy in her primary school years and often accompanied her father for hunting. Haley about her parents says- “He loved fishing, hunting, boating, baseball, and basketball .
Whereas my mother was very soft and strong but more of an artist. So I kind of had the best of the both worlds”. At the age of 18 , when sometimes she used to be with her mother she requested her mother to take her to Los Angeles to pursue acting career. Bennett also used her mother’s maiden name as her stage name at that time. Haley is also a big pet lover and has two cats and two dogs in her house.

Haley Bennett was in a serious relationship with Zach Cregger and for five years from 2010 to 2015. Many of the relationships were rumored with Joe Wright, Rick Malambri etc. She was also seen around Ryan Eggold and started dating people in the 2018. Haley confirmed her relationship with Joseph Wright in 2018. He was born and brought up in London.
Before marrying Haley Bennett ,he was married to Anoushka Shankar and has sons with her also he was once engaged to Rosamund Pike who worked in the film, Gone Girl.
